This week we met our 12th Grade Writing Mentors, this is an ongoing project that we are piloting this year with Ms. Yoshida's senior class. Each 5th grader is paired up with a 12th grade writing mentor. We will be meeting to talk about the writing process and to share our writing with each other. This week the students were excited to share their favorite picture books. We will be writing a short piece about the importance of this book. Thank you Ms. Yoshida and our 12 grade Writing Mentors, it was a highlight of the week.
